HOLIDAY PENGUIN APPETIZERS



DECEMBER IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MONTHS OTHER THAN NOVEMBER BECAUSE WELL ITS MY BIRTHDAY MONTH OF COURSE HAHAHA.
CHRISTMAS IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY FOLLOWING THANKSGIVING OF COURSE AND EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT A HOLIDAY I LOVE VALENTINES DAY. CHOCOLATE AND WINE FOR DAYS.


SO YA BACK TO CHRISTMAS HAHAHA I LOVE CHRISTMAS EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS SO MAGICAL AND I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE MY OWN PLACE TO DECORATE AND COOK/BAKE MORE AND HOST!!!!! YA I LOVE IT LOL 


SO A FEW YEARS AGO I MADE THESE AND THEY WERE A HIT. I DIDN'T COME UP WITH IT BUT SOMETHING WAS MISSING WHEN I JUST MADE THE PENGUINS SO I ADDED THEM ON TOP OF RITZ CRACKERS WITH CREAM CHEESE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THEY WERE ON SNOW. I ALSO DID THIS TO ADD MY TOUCH AND SO THE PENGUINS CAN STAND UP TOO. I LOVE CHEESE AND OLIVES SO TO ME THESE WERE HEAVEN.I WANTED TO ADD CHERRY TOMATOES ON TOP SO THE STICK ISN'T STICKING OUT BUT I FOUND IT HELPED TO GRAB THE PENGUINS BETTER OFF THE PLATE WITHOUT THE CHERRY TOMATOES BUT IT YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD 


JUST A WARNING IT IS A LITTLE TIME CONSUMING AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO COME OUT PERFECT AND IT GETS A LITTLE MESSY, SO I WARNED YOU BUT THEY ARE GOOD AND SO CUTE. I ALSO USED MEDIUM SIZE FOR THERE HEADS ON ACCIDENT BUT I WANTED TO POST THIS SO DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO RETURN BUT USE THE SMALL OLIVES FOR THEIR HEADS HAHAHA. I JUST MADE ABOUT 20 WITH ONE PACKET AND ONE MEDIUM CARROT BUT IF YOU WANT MORE GO AHEAD. I DIDN'T DO THIS BUT YOU CAN ADD TINY BLOCKS OF MOZERELLA CHEESE AROUND TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE ICEBERGS

WHAT YOU NEED:
+ 8 OZ WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE (CHILLED)
+ 1-2 PACKETS RITZ CRACKERS
+ BLACK OLIVES (LARGE & SMALL)
+ 1-2 CARROTS
+ TOOTHPICKS
+ 1/4 TSP SPOON
+ DISPLAY TRAY


1. SPREAD THE CREAM CHEESE ON THE CRACKERS.
2. CUT LARGE OLIVES VERTICALLY IN HALF 
3. SLICE CARROTS INTO SMALL ROUNDS AND THEN CUT SMALL TRIANGLES OFF    OF THOSE ROUNDS. IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE PACMANS HAHAHA. DON'T THROW THE TINY TRIANGLES YOU WILL NEED THOSE FOR THE BEAKS
4. STICK TOOTHPICKS IN THE CENTER OF THE CRACKERS THERE SHOULD BE A      TINY HOLE IN THE CENTER ALREADY.
5. FILL IN CREAM CHEESE WITH THE LARGE OLIVES AND PUT THE TO OLIVES    TOGETHER. KIND OF LIKE A SANDWICH. THE CREAM CHEESE SHOULD ACT      LIKE A GLUE(REAL GOOD GLUE----DONT EAT GLUE THOUGH HAHAHA)
6. ADD ROUND CARROTS ON THE CRACKERS (THE FEET)
7. SLIDE THE BODY PART THROUGH THE TOOTHPICK.
8. ADD SMALL OLIVE FOR THE HEAD AND INBETWEEN THERE IS A X ON THE      OLIVE ON ONE END, I PUT THE CARROT IN THAT ONE.
