Chipotle Chili Beans



THIS IS NOT ABOUT CHIPOTLE THE RESTURANT LOL---- BUT WHY IS THE GUATEMOLE EXTRA? IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED LIKE HOW TORTILLA CHIPS AND SALSA ARE WHEN YOU EAT AT A MEXICAN FOOD...BUT THEN AGAIN I JUST MAKE MY OWN HEHEHE. OK, LET'S MOVE FORWARD HAHAHAHA SO I WAS AT THE 99CENT STORE BECAUSE HELLO THEY HAVE AMAZING THINGS THERE AND FOR 99CENT YA ENOUGH SAID, OK WHILE I WAS THERE I SPOTTED THESE CUTE AWESOME CERAMIC CHILI BOWLS AND THAT INSPIRED ME TO MAKE CHILI BEANS FOR THE FIRST TIME. I MUST SAY NOT BAD FOR THE FIRST TIME. MOST OF THE TIME I DON'T MEASURE SEASONINGS WHEN I COOK BUT I DO WHEN I BAKE I DON'T WANT A FLAT COOKIE PLEASE NO LOL BUT THIS TIME I DID BECAUSE I KNEW I WAS GOING TO GET ASKED HOW DID YOU DO THAT AND WHAT I USUALLY SAY IS UMMM "THIS" AND "THAT".... BUT HOW MUCH UMMM I DON'T KNOW LOL. WHEN I COOK I JUST LET MY CREATIVENESS AND LOVE FOR FOOD KICK IN AND I DO MY THANGGG. YES SOMETIMES I MAKE MISTAKES BUT HEY I LEARN AND NOTE OK NEXT TIME NOT TO MUCH SALT LOL BUT COOKING AND BAKING RELAXES ME BECAUSE I CAN DANCE AROUND THE KITCHEN MIXING TO MUSIC. I REALLY ENJOY COOKING---NOTE: I AM NOT A CHEF NOR DID I STUDY IT BUT I'M JUST A FOOD LOVER THAT ENJOYS BRINGING THINGS TOGETHER AND HAVING A HAPPY TUMMY. FOOD LOVER THAT I AM. OK SO LET'S GET TO COOKING. P.S. YOU WILL SEE A LOT OF GARLIC IN THIS RECIPE BUT IT'S NOT STRONG THE TOMATO MELLOWS IT OUT HEHEHEHE.

INGRIDENTS:
1- POUND-GROUND TURKEY
4- STRIPES OF BACON
1- CUP OF PINTO BEANS OR 1 CAN 
30 OZ DARK RED KIDNEY BEANS
2- TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL
1- TOMATO
1- WHITE ONION
1- RED BELL PEPPER (YOU CAN USE THE GREEN TOO I HAD THE RED ONE)
4- CLOVES OF GARLIC
1- (15OZ) CAN DICED TOMATOS (BASIL, GARLIC & OREGANO FLAVOR)
1- (15OZ) CAN TOMATO SAUCE
PINCH OF OREGANO
PINCH OF CHILI PEPPER FLAKES
1 TEASPOON SUGAR
1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
2 TABLESPOON GARLIC SALT (OR TO YOUR TASTE)
1 TABLESPOON FRESH BASIL
1 TEASPOON CAYENNE
1 TEASPOON PAPRIKA
2 TABLESPOON CHIPOTLE CHILI PEPPER
CHEDDAR CHEESE(TOPPING)
SOUR CREAM(TOPPING)

+ CROCKPOT
+ MEDIUM SKILLET














 PINTO BEANS WERE MADE AHEAD OF TIME BUT IF YOUR USING A CAN YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS. WASH CANNED BEANS.
 THEN MIX KIDNEY, PINTO BEANS, DICED CAN TOMATOS, TOMATO SAUCE INTO THE CROCKPOT. I HAVE THE CROCKPOT TO HIGH HEAT. YOU WANT TO CHOP AND DICE TOMATO, ONION, GARLIC, BASIL AND BELL PEPPER.

THEN IN A MEDIUM SKILLET (MEDIUM HEAT) ADD 1 TABLESPOON OF THE OLIVE OIL AND THEN THE GROUND TURKEY. I PERSONALLY LOVE GROUND TURKEY MORE THAN BEEF BUT IF YOU LIKE BEEF ADD BEEF I USED GROUND TURKEY MORE FLAVOR AND MUCH LIGHTER. COOK THE MEAT TILL IT’S NOT PINK THEN AFTER IT'S COOKED THROUGHLY ADD IT INTO THE CROCKPOT LEAVE ANY JUICE IN THE SKILLET.
CUT THE BACON INTO PIECES THEN COOK THE BACON. I LEAVE A LITTLE OF THE BACON GREASE INTO THE SKILLET I KNOW NOT GOOD FOR YOU BUT THE FLAVOR IS YUM BUT JUST A LITTLE. IF YOU DON'T YOU CAN DUMP IT OUT.

 THEN I ADDED THE OTHER HALF OF THE OLIVE OIL (1 TABLESPOON).
COMBINE THE GARLIC FIRST LET COOK FOR A LITTLE BUT JUST A LITTLE THEN COMBINE ONION, BELL PEPPER AND TOMATO. LET IT COOK FOR ABOUT 10 MINS OR TILL ONION IS SEE TRANSPARENT. EVERY TWO MINS I WOULD MIX IT. THEN ABOUT 5 MINS INTO IT I ADDED THE BASIL AND THE SEASONINGS (GARLIC SALT, BLACK PEPPER, PAPRIKA,CAYENNE,  CHIPOTLE CHILI PEPPER, CHILI PEPPER FLAKES, SUGAR, OREGANO. MIX IT ALL TOGETHER. WHEN DONE TRANSFER THE VEGGIES TO THE CROCKPOT. MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND LET IT COOK FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS. THEN SERVE AND ENJOY WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE AND SOUR CREAM ON TOP. BON APPETIT. ENJOY Y'ALL.
